Looking for local people who would like to be involved in making movies. I am producer/writer and director with experience and know-how. I am looking for other people who have maybe been in the business in the past or peolple who always wanted to be but didn't know how to get started. I would like to get involved with local people and film locally. I have many ideas and scripts and others interested as well.
Paranormal Activity in theaters right now was made with only $11,000 and was bought by Steven Speilberg and has now made over $62 million dollars.
The director/creator filmed the movie in his house and thanks to digital technology he was able to make a movie that is the suprise hit of the year.
This is encouraging to all of us who dream of the same success in film because it opened Hollywood's doors to the rest of us.
