Unveiling Elizabeth Gutjahr’s Timeless Collection: Explore Rare Gems from the Old China Shop’s Legacy and her magnificent Clifton, NJ home.

Elizabeth owned the Old China Shop from 1943 to 1976 (see photo) that was located on Main Street in Clifton, NJ; after the shop closed the items were moved to her magnificent gingerbread home, also shown in photos. After Elizabeth’s passing the home remained in the family. Now for the first time in decades these treasures will be offered to the public at auction with no reserves.

J. Moigniez bronze pheasants, Charles Meigh jug, Carved bone triptych box, Early Canton tea pot, 1842 Jones and Walley Gypsey Jug, Baccarat President Paper Weights.
Ansonia Trianon bronze clock, Staffordshire, Villeroy and Boch, FABULOUS 19th C Pair Dieppe Carved “Bone” Figures, Antique Carved “Bone” Asian Trinkets, Early paintings, French bronze dresser boxes, Early Export Chinese Tea Pot.

A one time find!!! An exceptionally preserved German silver religious icon with a shell body and glass and genuine gemstone additions. Has an impressed N mark for Bavarian Nuremberg in the pre-1800’s style with an impressed 13 which is for the .812 purity in German marks. Depicts a monk with a tankard and cup. Possibly genuine amethyst and a citrine type cut gemstones around the base and cabochons of colorful glass throughout the body. Stands 5.25 inches tall and complete it weighs 6.4 OZT including shell and gems.
6 Early Antique Glass Bottles/ Vases Roman, Very early blown and formed glass bottles or vases. Some have remnants of iridescence. They range from 3.25 to 6.5 inches tall. All have residues. Appear as very early Roman bottles!! Super unique patinas.
