This is an Art Deco Alabaster Table Lamp with Original Shade and Cold Painted Spelter Harlequin or Pierrot or Pierrette or Pixie Figure attributed to J. B. Hirsch, manufactured in France between 1920-1939.
The Figurine measures approx. 5 1/2" tall; the lamp base is approx. 5 3/4" and the lamp is 15: tall. There is an incised stamp (signature mark) that may be J. RHUL., an artist who designed for Hirsch.
It's difficult to say definitively whether Joseph B. Hirsch, the founder of J.B. Hirsch Co., signed his lamps, but here is an incised stamp (signature mark) (last pic) that may be J. RHUL., an artist who designed for him or attributed to the New York Art Bronze Works (D.A.V NY ART) Hirsch's company from 1907. It's hard to make out. Shows very little wear commensurate with age. Wiring looks original.Very unique & a converstaion piece.
