Offering an ANTIQUE BARREL HANDTRUCK/DOLLY made by A. E. Bradley of New Haven, Connecticut. Wood and cast iron base. Patent date August 25, 1914. It has only one roller in the body, originally had three. Very scarce!
Wood handles are oak or hickory in very good condition. Handles are 71" long, 14 1/2" wide at the bottom, and 20" wide at the top. The wood handles are in very good condition - clean, minimal wear, no significant dings, scratches etc. No rot at all! Most has been coated with clear oil base; the bottom 10" or so is raw, which you will see in pictures.
It has 4 cast iron wheels 4" in diameter - three are rusted fast to the axle. They would have to be soaked in WD for quite a while. The base is in vgc - no damage at all. Measures 14 1/2 wide OD, 7 1/2" deep OD. The entire bottom dimensions at the wheels measure 18 1/2" wide by 18" front to back.
The roller is in VGC, measures 2 1/2" diameter x 41 1/2" long, never coated.
