Beautiful antique set of hand painted kitchen canisters from the 1920’s by Mikori Ware. The Made in Japan stamp with turtle is what dates this set to that time period. There is crazing showing it’s age but other then the tea container having a small chip missing on it's inside lip (cannot be seen with lid on) as shown in pic’s & salt box has fine crack thru the rear that can been seen only up close, the set is in amazing great condition with no other chips or cracks showing. There is some minor discoloration spots on the top rims of the jars that comes with age and the storage of spices etc. but the set is clean and good to go. Very clean.
A beautiful and timeless set and would look fantastic for display or in use. $90, for local p/u in Phillipsburg.
