RICH ASHBURN
Rich Ashburn's 12 year career with the Phillies from 1948-1959 was a mix of offensive and defensive power.NL Rookie of the year in 1948, Ashburn consistently led NL outfielders in a variety of defensive categories throughout his career while also winning 2 NL batting titles. A 5-time All-Start, Ashburn retired with a life-time .308 batting average. His number, #1, was retired by the Phillies in 1979 and he was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1995.

ROBIN ROBERTS
Robin Roberts' 14 year career with the Phillies from 1948-1961is best remembered for his fastball and durability, both of which resulted in his consistently being among the NL's pitching leaders. Roberts had 6 consecutive 20-victory seasons and was the NL starter in 5 All-Star Games. In addition, he was named the NL's Outstanding Pitcher twice (prior to the establishment to the Cy Young Award). His number #36, was retired by the Phillies in 1962 and he was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1976.

STEVE CARLTON
Steve Carlton's 15 year career with the Phillies from 1972-1986 established him as one of baseball's all-time great pitchers. A winner of 4 Cy Young Awards and 10-time All-Star, Lefty also holds 6 ML pitching marks in addition to 12 NL records and 10 LCS records.
His number, #32, was retired by the Phillies in 1989 and he was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1994.

MIKE SCHMIDT
Mike Schmidt's 18 year career with the Phillies from 1972-1989 was, simply extraordinary. A 3-time NL MVP and lished numerous ML and NL offensive and defensive records including the All-Time ML mark for home runs RBI's and extra base hits by a 3rd baseman. A 12-time All-Star All-Star and 1980 WS MVP, Schmidt was voted "Greatest Phillies Player" by fans in 1983 . His number #20 was retired by the Phillies in 1990 and he was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1995.
