Vintage Chinese, Korean, Japanese Tansu (Tonsu style) Chest. Also makes an excellent and interesting TV stand for your flat screen. Circa late 19th, early 20th Century , likely 1895-1935. Brought to United States from East Asia following World War II, Korean War. All wood. Weathered. Also makes excellent TV stand, under window, storage etc. Originally used in China, Korea, Japan as blanket and silk garment storage. Small drawers inside. Dovetail joinery and craftsmanship. Solid wood, real wood. Likely Asian walnut wood. Forged iron hinges, pulls, reinforcement decorative hardware. Larger, attractive piece. Not Ikea.

Overall good condition, some wear and some scratches given age and character of this vintage Asian collector's piece. Note: Removable Asian, (Chinese, Korean) lock and key, not included (pictured in 1st photo), but available for an additional $35. Other traditional, various antique Chinese and Korean brass and iron locks may also be available to fit this chest at an additional price.

The measurements are about : 30" high x 17" Deep x 41" Wide. Larger, attractive collector's piece.
