Perennial Plants for ½ shade, Columbine, price per pot - $5 (Allentown, PA 18103)

Columbine is a spring blooming perennial.
Colors are unpredictable as plants cross one
another and new seedlings appear.
Latin name is Aquilegia vulgaris.
Preferred conditions are PART SHADE.
Growth habit is about 18” tall with scalloped
gray-green foliage. Plant has a taproot which
makes it drought tolerant.
Seven pots are available. They will be blooming
soon. Height is increasing daily.
Size of the nursery pot: approximately 6" by 6".

Each pot holds multiple divisions. Colors
are most likely pinks and purples, some
with white interiors. (Flowering photos were
taken in my garden in 2025 - samples of
possible colors.)
Space plants 8 - 10” apart when installing.
Keep moistened for several weeks if rain is scarce.
Until planting, keep the pots sitting in a shady spot
with regular watering. Partial shade is best for
Columbine.
Pick Up Location is an easy-to-find address
near Cedar Crest Blvd. and I-78.
Plants will be bagged or boxed for pick up.
