1968 Wheel Horse Commando 8 Tractor/Mower - Runs and Mows - $750 (Alpha NJ)

Up for consideration is my 1968 Wheel Horse Commando 8 (Model 1-4831), runs and mows. Appears to be the original 8hp Kohler K181S electric starter/generator, Uni-Drive transaxle (3 forward and 1 reverse), with 36 inch rear discharge deck (Model 5-2362). Deck is not "mint" but is in pretty phenominal shape. Everything works but the parking brake, although I have not tested the cigar lighter. Just changed the oil before the last mow, and it mows fantastic. The paint is 58 years old and could use a respray, however there is no rust other then surface. Belts have some hours on them but still work fine. Rear rims/tires are obviously not original to the machine, however the original rims with 23x8.50-12 Wheel Horse script tires are included (dry rotted and one not holding air for long but would be servicable with tubes). Runs great, fires right up, brand new battery, carb really should come apart and be cleaned as it surges a bit at idle.
