Up for sale is a used vertical 275 gallon heating oil tank. I am not sure of the age, but it is solid with no leaks. This tank feels heavier and might be a thicker gauge steel. I am relisting this tank for sale from the gentleman that purchased it from me. He lightly sanded and repainted the tank. The problem is he started to clean the inside and sludge is breaking loose now. He's a little paranoid to use it because his wife is ill and he doesn't want the line getting blocked up in the middle of the night. The tank is solid, it just could use more cleaning on the inside if you desire. The pipes in the top are already unscrewed so it makes it easier for plumbing it back in. This can still be used for heating oil or as an extra storage tank for diesel fuel. You can also use it to store used motor oil if you have a motor oil furnace. It can also be repurposed as a BBQ, pig roaster / smoker, fire pit, or burn barrel. A new tank can cost $800-$1000. I can possibly work something out to deliver the tank within reasonable distance if you do not have a vehicle to transport it. If the ad is up, the item is still available.
