This beautiful instrument has a custom pickup system. I was not satisfied with the string noise from the Expression System® 2 Electronics when fingering instrument, so Taylor factory installed a undersaddle pickup. This removed the fingering noise and provided a much cleaner sound in my opinion. The preamp for the undersaddle pickup is in the same area as with the ES2, but instead of bass, treble, and volume this instrument has mids, tone, and volume. They also gave me the ES2 pickup back in case I changed my mind, which I'll include in order. Shipping in original box from Taylor.
Instrument has been lovingly maintained around 48% RH in a Musik Tent Instrument Humidor. Looks and plays like new.
