Wood lathe made by Prize Demas. This is a real working treadle lathe in small size made to be used by children. A very interesting piece of history and a great conversation piece. In the late 1800’s, early 1900’s an 8 or 9 year old would have spent their day at work on this machine. Show children what their lives would have been like in a different time. The last picture shows the lathe to the left of an adult size lathe.
