2008, Hilo 2808 Classic 28 foot . sleeps 5 - possible 7 items are included and ready to go camping see below. Just bring your clothes and food. Weight empty 6160 pounds. Included are items ready to go camping, We had it restored and picked up in spring of 2021 so basically it is only 4 years old with the restoration at Midget RV Ohio ( retired now) and just about everything has been either replaced, modified, repaired, cleaned. NON Smoker and NO pets under our ownership. Lots of pictures available. ask for a Printout of the cost for everything . When not in use it is stored inside a heated garage. Juist did the Yearly serviced end of year camping by reseal, inspect, and repack bearings. coated cables and hydraulic rod. Reason for selling = age of us and health and we have traveled with 3 campers 49 of 50 states and cruised the 50th and all Canada territories and provinces plus non camping to Mexico, and Israel. So it is time to give it up. We believe we are the 2nd owner and included are the papers from the original owner. Items that set it apart from other Hilo’s (most of the items listed here I would say you will not find this in any other Hilo.) are Regular size stainless steel refrigerator and freezer like in a normal RV and for this we extended the roof here with an aluminum cover and cover is not as high as the AC on the roof, Also manual thermometer inside and also battery thermometer to monitor the temp (note this does read a few degrees high) , backup lights, tire pressure and temperature monitor and Backup camera = both control in our pickup which also does record the cameras each separate one at rear of camper and 1 at rear of truck toward hitch one higher to see on top RV , one to the front of the truck. New from Camping World an AC with a digital thermostat that could be tied into the furnace but we did not tie it in. We removed the night stand over the hot water heater and Converted the bed from the Queen to a cut down 50 x 80 and added a 30 x 80 both in the opposite direction of the prior position and has flip up to access storage underneath and some also access from outside . Also under the 30 inch bed has an outdoor kitchen (rare to find in a Hilo) which stores outside cooking items with shelves, New mattress like would be in a house = very comfortable. Also provisions to insert to make 1 large bed instead of the 2, New AM/FM, USB, Weather band radio, and aux. hookup and mic. Radio with switches to switch from bedroom speakers (each with shut off switch) to added outside speakers and volume control for these plus separate volume control for kitchen speakers. For the TV added speaker at the couch with volume control for the TV with amplifier to control the volume and = helps to be able to hear the tv better when the AC is running. TVs hook up in the bedroom and dining/living area each has an A/B switch from either cable or antenna with a booster. backup lights, Back flush hookup for gray & black tanks with ID plates on each. jumper block to battery if needed at box on the side with almost all fuses inside it for easy access and also a switch to activate repeater for tire pressure and temp. to monitor in truck and switch to turn on rear camera . A jumper at the same place if needed to bypass the raise / lower switch. Battery monitor with switch for % battery is charged, Blue neon lights on the awning roll with timer to turn on and off. Cushion fold up dining chairs at the dining table instead of the wooden ones. Removable Hand railing to enter RV. Nice mural on both sides. Propane tanks with gauges. Added shower curtain between commode/shower and walk/bath sink for privacy if others use sink or walk through to bed room. Spigot at front outside for water access, Easy drain spigot @ hot water tank, installed in the bedroom plastic extra storage compartment = note this drawer does have small damage but is working, auto run fans in kit & bedroom with covers over them and also over bathroom non thermostat to use even if raining, Anti skid wheels on rear RV, New commode with sprayer assembly. Easy access to prepare for winterize grease buddies at wheels but we normally have them repacked yearly, window curtains are RV Day / Night Shades or totally open. Microwave convection oven, has solar panel
items replaced, fixed or maintained = We have everything yearly resealed, roof, windows, molding. we rebuilt Hot Water heater, New carpet, new kitchen sink, commode, walls covering in and out, cables, outdoor shower assembly, smoke and carbon dioxide detectors, fire extinguishers, fuse box and converter, GFI for AC, dry camp pump, 5 new tires in 2021 and changed 4 new for 2025, furnace thermostat, awning fabric, shower curtain, repaired push out, installed Level inside at door, bumper hose door compartment cover for storage of sewer hose,, all new clearance lights, new sewer vent with screen. New Electric jack with work lights and level indicator, lots of storage, steam cleaned = couch to bed, easy access to sewer connection, propane tanks with gauges, electric cord, . Ask for the printout for all the expenses as this may not include all rebuilt.
Items included in sale but not limited to the following .several sewer hoses with caps and with hose support, elec. cord with surge protector, blocks level & chock, cooking items, toaster, coffee pot, pots, pans, misc., Hilo disk = of 50 years and also instructions, water hoses with pressure gauge and new filter, 2 TV's one with DVD player, also if want the plastic silver ware and plates and Styrofoam cups. can also include linens .
